Traditional ICU systems require pouring soda lime granules into trays to absorb CO₂, a messy, hazardous process with significant drawbacks. AERAFLOW™ avoids recurring soda lime replacement through continuous ventilation and CO₂ management without soda lime consumables.
The result? No recurring soda lime replacement in this workflow, with routine cleaning, inspection, service, and applicable compliance procedures still required.
No Recurring Soda Lime
No recurring soda lime granules to purchase, pour, or replace. Standard cleaning and service recommendations still apply.
Reduced Soda Lime Disposal
Avoids routine disposal of spent soda lime. Follow applicable waste procedures for all materials.
Staff Safety
Eliminates routine staff handling of soda lime within the ICU workflow.
Real-Time Monitoring
Digital CO₂ sensors provide accurate readings. No color indicators to misread.
Controlled ambient air is drawn into the system's intake pathway to support continuous oxygen generation and airflow management.
Precise O₂ blending achieves 21 to 80% concentration based on patient needs.
Continuous ventilation exhausts CO₂-rich air naturally, without recurring soda lime replacement.
Fresh, oxygen-enriched air is continuously delivered to the patient.
