Natrle exam gloves combine medical-grade nitrile protection with EcoDegra™ biodegradable technology. Tested for use with chemotherapy drugs and fentanyl citrate, they meet ASTM D6319, the same standard as conventional nitrile exam gloves, and are independently tested to 81% biodegradation in 490 days under ASTM D5511 and 30% in 202 days under ASTM D5526, not 100+ years like standard nitrile. The actual rate depends on landfill conditions and microbial activity.

Handling carmustine and vincristine
Carmustine (12.1 min) and vincristine sulfate (37.8 min) broke through in under 240 minutes. When handling either drug, double glove and change gloves right after any contact. The 2026 AAHA Oncology Guidelines call for double gloving whenever chemotherapy is handled.
